The silence of the lake

The silence of the lake, the vastness of the view, the calm on the shore - all of this comes back to my memory when I look at the drawing. This is one that my father drew with a thick graphite pencil on a trip to friends in Sweden in 1986 - could also be yesterday or today - the lakes look like this. Luckily. I just like the still water in the picture, which is still calming. Could also be yesterday or today - timeless.
